The BLUBOO S3 is one of the company’s newest smartphones, and BLUBOO has decided to compare its battery performance to the likes of iPhone X and Galaxy S8. The first battery test that the company decided to conduct is a charging test, the iPhone X and Galaxy S8 come with 5V/2A fast charging, while the BLUBOO S3 features 12V/2A fast charging. In 30 minutes, the iPhone X managed to reach a 20-percent charge, the BLUBOO S3 charged up to 30 percent, while the Galaxy S8 stood at 36 percent. After an hour of charging, the iPhone X hit 41 percent, BLUBOO S3 55 percent, and the Galaxy S8 charged up to 70 percent. At an hour and 30 minutes mark, the iPhone X stood at 60 percent, the BLUBOO S3 reached 76 percent, while the Galaxy S8 was charged up to 94 percent. At a 2-hour mark, the iPhone X stood at 79 percent, BLUBOO S3 on 91 percent, and the Galaxy S8 was fully charged. The iPhone X is clearly the slowest-charging phone out of the bunch, as it sports a three times smaller battery than the BLUBOO S3, and the BLUBOO S3 managed to beat it in the fast charging segment.
The second test BLUBOO conducted is a battery life test, the company decided to play a movie for 5 hours, the Galaxy S8 had 57 percent of battery left, while the BLUBOO S3 stood at 69 percent. After 8 hours of video playback, the Galaxy S8 had 27 percent of battery left, while the BLUBOO S3 stood at 48 percent. The Galaxy S8 died after 10 hours and 45 minutes of video playback, at the time the BLUBOO S3 had 28 percent of battery charge left, and the phone was drained after 18 hours and 45 minutes of video playback.
