Honor Photo Cup Promises Hardware Prizes For US Residents

The Honor Photo Cup is promising hardware prizes for US residents who choose to enter. The contest is in celebration of the 2018 World Cup, and similar to it those who enter will be able to represent a number of different countries with the winners of the content walking away with either a phone or a wearable from the brand. There are three total prizes that can be won and although entrants will need to be living in the US to compete, the rules state that the US does not have to be the represented country, and that there will be sixteen different countries to choose from when looking to represent a specific region.

As for the prizes, the first place winner will get an Honor View 10, while the second and third place winners will get an Honor 7X and an Honor Band 3 respectively. What’s more is that the winners will actually be a team and not just a single person, and each person of the three winning teams will get the hardware prize associated with their winner slot. Honor will not be the one to choose the countries so which ones can be represented will be chosen based on the submissions of interested entrants. The sixteen countries with the most submissions will be the ones that are selected, and entrants can choose to represent any of those sixteen selections.

There will be five users per team, and each user can submit one photo for the contest. So in the end the top photos will be chosen and then placed into the respective slots, and five people will the prize of each slot. Though this is a contest that is being put on by Honor and the prizes are Honor products, you do not have to use an Honor smartphone to take a picture. It does however have to be taken by a smartphone even though there won’t be a requirement on the brand. There will also be a specific theme for each round and photo submissions must follow that particular theme. Those who also vote in every round will have a chance to win one of five Honor Band 3 wearables. Submissions for the first round of photos will begin on June 29 and continue until July 3, and users who wish to enter must create an Honor account, select a country that they want to represent, and the submit or their entry will be disqualified.
