The 2018 FIFA World Cup is getting underway later this month, with the first round beginning on June 14. Those that are in the US and want to watch the FIFA World Cup live from Russia, there are many ways to watch it. The 2018 FIFA World Cup is being broadcast on Fox and FS1 in the US, both of which are available from DIRECTV NOW, and you through the end of this month, you can get your first three months for $10 each. That’s a good deal, and it does tie in nicely with the FIFA World Cup. DIRECTV NOW allows you to stream on Android, iOS, Chromecast, the web, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and select Apple TV. For $35/month, you will get around 60 channels included here, which includes Fox’s channels, and depending on where you are located, local sports channels are also included. DIRECTV NOW does also allow you to add on HBO or SHOWTIME for a discounted rate. DIRECTV NOW does offer up a 7-day trial here, but if you want to take advantage of any of its promotions, you cannot use the free trial, so keep that in mind.

Sling TV is also a pretty good cord-cutter streaming TV service that is available. It has a plan that starts at just $20 per month, however to get Fox and FS1 channels included, you will need to pay for the $25 per month service. Of course, you can get everything Sling TV has to offer for $40 per month. Sling TV does also offer up other channels in packages that range from $5 to $20 per month. This is an a la carte approach by Sling TV, so that you are only paying for the channels you want. Sling TV is available on most devices these days. Including Android, iOS, Chromecast, Android TV, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. So you can watch it virtually anywhere. Sling TV does offer up a 14-day free trial to check out the service before purchasing it.

YouTube TV is similar to DIRECTV NOW and Sling TV, where it allows you to stream all sorts of channels anywhere. It starts at $40 per month. So it is actually the most expensive of the services listed here. YouTube TV has a slew of channels, including many of your local channels – including Fox. YouTube TV does also offer up free cloud DVR, so you can store any of the FIFA World Cup games you may miss while you’re at work, or simply not home. YouTube TV does offer up a free trial of 30-days.

Hulu Live TV is the streaming service’s own live TV service, which is priced similar to YouTube TV – at $40 per month. With Hulu Live TV, you also get Hulu’s massive on-demand library, which is likely larger than YouTube TV, DIRECTV NOW and Sling TV’s on-demand library. You do get a slew of channels included here, around 60 channels, which do include local channels and the Fox suite of channels for watching the FIFA World Cup. Like the other services, Hulu Live TV is available on most devices, that includes Android, iOS, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and the web. So you can watch it anywhere you go. Hulu offers a week for free, and then you’ll pay $39.99 per month for the Live TV service.

Finally, there’s Fox Sports Go. This is the Fox Sports app where you can watch all sorts of sporting events that are broadcast on Fox’s family of networks. Now you do need to sign in with a cable or satellite TV provider – the good thing here is that DIRECTV NOW and Sling TV are also supported. Now if you don’t subscribe to any streaming TV services, you can pay for a month of Fox Sports Go for $19.99, or get a full year for $139.99 – which is great for those that are watching other sports on the network, like the World Series this Fall. Fox Sports Go allows you to watch sporting events on virtually every platform. Including Android, iOS, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Roku, Apple TV and many more.
