OPPO has released a new poster on its official Weibo (Chinese social network) page, and by doing so, the company is clearly teasing the arrival of the rumored OPPO Find X handset. The OPPO Find X. As you can see, that poster consists out of a huge letter “X”, company’s branding, “Find X” branding, and that’s pretty much it, while in the caption, OPPO included the “OPPO Find X” hashtag.
Having said that, this is not the first time we’re hearing about the OPPO Find X, as the company trademarked that name last month, while the alleged OPPO Find X handset surfaced soon after trademark info surfaced. The OPPO Find X is rumored to become the company’s all-new flagship, which would be quite a surprise considering that OPPO has not released a high-end device for quite some time now. OPPO’s most powerful phones are usually fueled by mid-range processors, but the OPPO Find X may become an exception, and it may indirectly succeed the OPPO Find 7 which was the last flagship smartphone this company released. The OPPO Find 7 was announced way back in March 2014, and even though over the year, rumors suggested that OPPO’s new flagship is coming, that never happened, but it seems that may change soon.
OPPO did not confirm that the “Find X” will be a flagship phone, but rumors are claiming that, plus this is a rather specific branding, so… it’s almost certainly a flagship device. The alleged OPPO Find X render which surfaced last month suggested that the device will include really thin bezels, three cameras on its back, and a display notch. It was not the sharpest image, though, plus the display was black for the most part, so we were unable to see clear display lines or anything of the sort, but considering that OPPO is planning to introduce the device in the near future, chances are we’ll see more leaks soon. The OPPO Find X will probably be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core SoC, while it will sport at least 6GB of RAM on the inside. Keep in mind that no info leaked, these are only educated guesses, we’ll see how accurate they are.
