The Silk White OnePlus 6 is now available for purchase from OnePlus in Europe. As most of you know, the regular OnePlus 6 variants were made available for purchase in Europe on May 22, while the Silk White limited edition model was not. At the phone’s announcement, OnePlus said that the device will become available for purchase on June 5, and that’s exactly what just happened, as you can purchase the phone directly from OnePlus for €569 / £519 in Europe, depending on where you live.
The Silk White OnePlus 6 comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while its frame sports that Rose Gold color, and the back of the phone is white-colored. Now, this phone, like all other OnePlus 6 variants, is made out of metal and glass, and it’s actually identical to all the other models in terms of the design, save for different colors, of course. On the back of the phone you will find a dual camera setup, a dual-LED flash, a fingerprint scanner, and OnePlus’ logo, while the device sports a thin “chin” below the display, and a display notch. Other than that, the phone’s bezels are quite thin, and the alert slider is now placed above the phone’s power / lock button on the right, which is a first for OnePlus. The phone’s back side is slightly curved, and the Slik White is slippery, just like all the other OnePlus 6 models, though it should be a bit less slippery than the all-metal OnePlus 5T.
The OnePlus 6 features a 6.28-inch fullHD+ (2280 x 1080) Optic AMOLED display, along with 8GB of RAM in this case, and 128GB of non-expandable storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor fuels the OnePlus 6, while a 3,300mAh battery lies on the inside of this phone as well. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the phone, along with OnePlus’ OxygenOS skin, while the phone offers two SIM card slots. 16 and 20-megapixel cameras are placed on the back of the OnePlus 6, while a single 16-megapixel camera is included on the phone’s front side. Dirac HD sound is a part of the package, as is Bluetooth 5.0, and a Type-C USB port which sits on the bottom of the OnePlus 6, where you will also find a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a loudspeaker.
