NVIDIA has announced its latest SHIELD Android TV game sale to coincide with the July 4 celebrations. As a result, starting today and through until July 6, SHIELD TV owners are able to save as much as 60-percent off the cost of a select number of Android games. It’s worth noting that unlike previous seasonal SHIELD sales, the games offered here are not exclusive to SHIELD TV devices. Therefore, this is more of an Android sale in general, with some titles widely available on all Android TV devices, and other available on both mobile and TV versions of Android.
The biggest discount on offer does not automatically equate to the biggest savings on offer as the only 60-percent off title is Vostok Inc. This is an Android-wide compatible game, and one which normally retails for $15.99. However, as part of the sale the 60-percent reduction results in the price dropping down to only $6.49. Those more on the lookout for a group-based game for Android TV will be happy to know the Jackbox Party Pack collection are all included in this sale. These games are compatible with all Android TV devices and are party games making them ideal for local multiplayer situations. Jackbox Party Pack, Jackbox Party Pack 2, Jackbox Party Pack 3, and Jackbox Party Pack 4 all typically retail for $24.99 each and all have now been discounted by 50-percent, resulting in a price drop down to $12.49 each. In other words, you could buy the whole four-game collection for the same price you would normally expect to pay for just two of the games.
All of the rest of the games have also been discounted by exactly 50-percent. Starting with the biggest savings, Fossil Hunters and Kona both normally retail at $14.99 and with the discount applied can now be picked up for just $7.49 each. Alternatively, Death Road to Canada has seen its usually $9.99 price reduced to $4.99. Likewise, Radiation City, Battle Supremacy, and Farming Simulator 18 have all been reduced down from their usual $4.99 prices to $2.49. While Ashworld and the The Bug Butcher can now both be picked up for $1.99 each, compared to their usual $3.99 cost. Last, but not least, Super Samurai Rampage is the most affordable game in this sale in general and once its 50-percent discount has been applied, the price drops down to just $0.99. As a reminder, these prices are only good until July 6, and all of the games are available to download directly from the Google Play Store.
