The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 leaks keep on coming, as the company’s CEO was spotted using the device in public. If you take a look at the image provided above, you will be able to see the company’s (Samsung Mobile’s) CEO, DJ Koh, and the Galaxy Note 9 in his hand. Truth be said, this is not exactly the clearest image of the device we’ve seen, but it’ noticeable this is the company’s new smartphone based on its back, and the fact that DJ Koh is also using the S Pen.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be announced on August 9, Samsung had already announced that press event in New York, and the device had surfaced a number of times thus far. We’ve recently shared an exclusive render of the phone, while several other renders appeared, including the one Evan Blass shared yesterday. Having said that, based on all of those leaks, we know exactly what to expect out of the Galaxy Note 9 in terms of the design. The phone will be made out of metal and glass, just like its predecessor, while it will sport two horizontally-aligned cameras on the back. Next to those two cameras, you’ll notice an LED flash and a heart rate sensor, while a fingerprint scanner will be placed below the phone’s main cameras. Samsung’s logo will sit on the back of the phone, while the device’s bezels will be extremely thin, and its display will be slightly curved on the sides. The phone’s power / lock key will sit on the right, while you’ll be able to find volume up, down and Bixby buttons on the left.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will sport a display which will be larger than the one on the Galaxy S9 Plus, and we’re once again looking at a QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity panel here. The Galaxy Note 9 will utilize 6GB of RAM, while it will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, and Samsung’s custom UI will be included on top of it. The phone is rumored to sport a 3,400mAh battery on the inside, and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge fast charging will be a part of the offering as well, but we still do not know what version of it.
