Honor Schedules IFA Press Event, Honor Note 10 Coming?

The Honor Note 10 is Honor’s upcoming flagship smartphone which has been leaking for weeks now, and it seems like the company may announce it on August 30, as an event has been scheduled for that date. This event will be hosted in Berlin, as part of IFA, and the company is using the ‘Crazy Fast, Crazy Smart’ caption for the event, as you can see in the provided image above. The company also confirms that we will see a new product at that event, but the Honor Note 10 was not mentioned by the company, as Honor is trying to keep it a secret, presumably.

The Honor Note 10 has surfaced quite a few times thus far, and we pretty much know what to expect from it. The device will be made out of metal and glass, while its bezels will be quite thin. Honor’s logo will be included below the phone’s display, and the display will sport rounded corners. The back side of the phone will be curved, and you will get a vertically-aligned dual camera setup on the back. A fingerprint scanner will be included as well, while a Type-C USB port will sit on the bottom of the device, along with a loudspeaker. All the physical keys will sit on the right-hand side of the phone, and you’ll be able to access the device’s SIM tray from the left. Based on the spec info that surfaced thus far, the Honor Note 10 will be quite a large smartphone.

The Honor Note 10 is expected to sport a 6.9-inch QHD+ display, and will be a competitor to the recently-announced Mi Max 3 in that regard, as both phones sport 6.9-inch displays, even though the Mi Max 3 is a mid-range phone, not a flagship. The Honor Note 10 will be fueled by the Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor, Huawei’s most powerful chip, and the device is said to pack in 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. 24 and 16-megapixel cameras are said to be included on the back of the device, while a single 24-megapixel camera will sit on the phone’s front side. A 6,000mAh battery was also mentioned in some leaks, and so was 5V/4.5A fast charging.
