The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 is the most anticipated smartphone from Xiaomi in 2018, and while we’re waiting for more Mi MIX 3 info to surface, a third-party concept design has surfaced online. This design comes from the ‘Science and Knowledge’ YouTube channel, and this phone looks like a combination of the Mi MIX 2 and the Vivo NEX. That being said, some leaks that surfaced recently suggested that the Mi MIX 3 may sport a pop-up camera, like the Vivo NEX, which is probably what inspired the designer to create such a design.
Now, chances are that the real Mi MIX 3 will not be completely bezel-less, unlike this concept phone. If you check out the video which is embedded down below, you will notice that this concept phone does not sport any bezel, and that its display sports rounded corners. On top of that, the device comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, and its selfie camera pops up from the device when needed. Cameras on this phone are placed in the same spot as on the Mi MIX 2, but unlike the Mi MIX 2, this concept phone comes with three rear-facing cameras, while an LED flash is located below them. All the physical keys are included on the right-hand side of the device, while the phone’s SIM card slot(s) can be accessed from the left. The device seems to be made out of metal and ceramic, while the designer also envisioned some specs for this smartphone.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 concept sports a 6-inch (2960 x 1440) IPS LCD display with a 99-percent screen-to-body ratio. This imaginary smartphone comes with Android 9.0, and Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 skin, while it is fueled by the Snapdragon 845. The device includes 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB / 256GB of storage, while a 40-megapixel camera is the largest one on its back. A 23-megapixel selfie camera has also been envisioned by the designer, and the phone does not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. A 3,400mAh battery is also a part of the package, as is Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging.
