Smartphone accessory maker Incipio on Thursday announced a lineup of new protective cases for the Galaxy Note 9, having done so shortly after the South Korean tech giant officially announced its latest Android flagship. The company’s new offerings come in the form of the Incipio NGP and Incipio DualPro, a pair of durable cases meant to protect the Galaxy Note 9 from all at-risk angles without adding too much bulk to the device itself.
The Incipio NGP is the more affordable option of the two, being priced at $19.99. The case features a slim and flexible frame with an outer layer of a soft texture that should ensure the Galaxy Note 9 is never at a risk of slipping out of your hand while still keeping it out of harm’s way. Besides a handful of color options, the Incipio NGP is also available with a fully transparent Clear finish intended to showcase the new Galaxy Note 9 colors, with the main tradeoff of this design being a high probability of dust and dirt accumulating between the case and the device itself, meaning you’ll have to perform regular maintenance.
The Incipio DualPro is a more rugged alternative for protecting your Galaxy Note 9 and is priced at $29.99. The case is rated for being capable of fully shielding the device from ten-feet drops thanks to a two-layer structure designed for shock absorption which also inspired its name. The American manufacturer is already selling all of its new protective cases directly, whereas some of its retail partners will start offering them later this month. The accessories should be available for purchases on a national level by the time the Galaxy Note 9 hits the store shelves on August 24. Samsung‘s newest Android flagship is available in two variants, starting at $999 for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space and going up to $1,249 for 512GB of flash memory and 8GB of RAM.
