LG Q8 Is Official With Quad DAC, 4GB Of RAM & A Stylus

LG has announced a new smartphone in Korea, the LG Q8. The LG Q8 is an entry-level smartphone, and it actually comes with a stylus, if that’s something you’re into. We don’t really see many phones that ship with styluses, especially entry-level ones, but this one does, with a basic stylus. The LG Q8 also sports really thin bezels, and its display comes with rounded corners. The device features a single camera on the back, and a fingerprint scanner on the back as well, along with an LG logo.

On the right-hand side of the LG Q8, you’ll notice a power / lock key, while its volume up and volume down buttons are included on the left. A 3.5mm headphone jack is a part of the package as well, and it’s located on the bottom of the phone. The device features a 6.2-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) FullVision display, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable memory (expandable up to 2TB). The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 450 64-bit octa-core processor, and it includes a 3,300mAh battery as well, which supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. A 16-megapixel camera can be found on the back of this phone, while a single 5-megapixel camera (100-degree Super Wide Angle lens) is included on the phone’s front side. The LG Q8 comes with a Hi-Fi Quad DAC, and DTS:X 3D Surround sound. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on this smartphone, with LG’s custom UI, while the device also includes Bluetooth 4.2, and a Type-C USB port.

LG has introduced this smartphone in two color variants, Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue, while the device is priced at 539,000 won ($470). The LG Q8 is still not available for purchase in Korea, but it will be in the near future, said LG. It remains to be seen if LG plans to push this phone to more markets, but for the time being, it’s exclusive to Korea.
