The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 has surfaced two days ago in real-life images, and following that, a render of the phone has just surfaced as well. This render has been shared by a Twitter user ‘Ben Geskin’, which tends to share some leaks from time to time. This render, however, doesn’t seem to be a regular leak, as the source says that it is “based on leaked live images”, which suggests that he created this image based on the leaks that have been surfacing over the past few weeks.
Having said that, this phone is almost completely bezel-less, its bottom bezel is slightly thicker than its top and side bezels, but that is barely noticeable. The phone’s display sport rounded corners, while all of its physical keys are located on the right. Two vertically-aligned cameras are included on the back of this phone, while a dual-LED flash sits below them. Xiaomi’s branding is imprinted on the back of the device, while a fingerprint scanner is nowhere to be seen, that’s probably because it will be placed below the phone’s display. The back side of this phone seems to be curved on the sides a bit, while the phone is made out of metal and glass or ceramic, though chances are that Xiaomi will opt for a metal + ceramic build, as they did with the Mi MIX 2S, even though a glass variant is also a possibility.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 is expected to become official in September this year, in other words, it will probably launch next month, as the Mi MIX 2 arrived in September last year. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core SoC, and its bezels will be thinner than the ones on the Mi MIX 2 and 2S, that’s for sure. The device will probably include 6GB or 8GB of RAM (several variants will become available), while the company’s MIUI 10 skin is expected to come pre-installed on top of Android.
