OnePlus Introduces Type-C Bullets Earphones, Coming Soon

OnePlus has just announced a new pair of earphones via its official forums website, and we’re looking at wired Type-C earphones here. The company is referring to these earphones as ‘Type-C Bullets’, and these are basically succeeding the company’s Bullets V2 earphones. Not only do these come with a Type-C port, instead of a regular headphone jack, but they also bring some audio-related improvements to the table.

Carl Pei, OnePlus’ co-founder, basically confirmed yesterday that the OnePlus 6T will not sport a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is OnePlus is releasing Type-C headphones instead of those with a regular 3.5mm headphone jack. As you can see, the OnePlus Type-C Bullets actually resemble the Bullets V2 quite a bit, and as far as colors are concerned, OnePlus has shared only one color variant of these earphones thus far, black. In its forum post, OnePlus says that the design of its products is extremely important, and same goes for the OnePlus Type-C Bullets. The company is also emphasizing the importance of comfort when it comes to earphones, and claims that these earphones are very comfortable to wear for an extended period of time.

OnePlus has implemented a new DAC in these earphones, with help from Ciruss Logic, and the company claims that the Type-C Bullets offer higher dynamic range, higher signal-to-noise ratio, and lower noise floor than their predecessors. All of this essentially means that music should appear clearer, with a more powerful bass, and little to no loss in details or quality. Now, these earphones were not made available for purchase by the company, but they will almost certainly be announced alongside the OnePlus 6T in either October or November. The phone was initially expected to arrive in November, but the latest reports (including OnePlus’ mysterious teaser) claim it will arrive in October instead, but we’ll see what will happen.
