Disney, Google & OtterBox Partner Up To Dress Up The Home Mini As Mickey Mouse

In short: OtterBox announced that it has partnered with Disney and Google today, to produce a “case” for the Google Home Mini, that effectively makes the smart speaker look like Mickey Mouse. It is essentially a holder, with ears and everything, but the Google Home Mini sits on the stand as Mickey’s head. Obviously, this would look better with the Charcoal color of the Google Home Mini as it would blend in with Mickey Mouse a bit more.

Background: OtterBox has done partnerships like this in the past, with Google, Disney and other companies. It’s a way to create some rather interesting products and make them look more unique. Which is the case here with the Den Series. The whole idea with this one is to get kids to use the Google Home Mini more, and have fun with it. By having it look like Mickey Mouse, the kids are more likely to have fun with it. Not to mention, it is Mickey’s 90th birthday this month, so that many companies are partnering with Disney to celebrate his birthday. Even Oreo has created some limited edition Mickey Mouse cookies that are only on sale through the month of October. And there is bound to be some more coming later this month.

Impact: The Den Series Google Home Mini for Mickey Mouse is now available from OtterBox. You can pick it up from OtterBox’s website using the link down below. OtterBox is part of the Made For Google program, so that this will work perfectly with the Google Home Mini, it even has cable management, so it still looks nice and clean when it is sitting on your desk or table at home. Of course, the Google Home Mini is not included, and only the stand is, which is going to set you back about $20.
