Now, if that name sounds familiar to you, then it’s probably because you’ve heard of a web search service called ‘DuckDuckGo’, and we’ve actually talked about it quite recently. DuckDuckGo is basically a competitor to Google Search, but a less-known one. Even though this service is constantly growing, it’s only a blip on Google’s radar, but unlike Google, it bases its ads on what you’re searching for, not on a number of other parameters based on the data that it collects from users who use the service.
