Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Now Available In Cloud Silver

In short: Samsung announced last week that it was bringing a new color of the Galaxy Note 9 to the United States, which was Cloud Silver. Today, that new color is available for purchase from Samsung’s website. There are now three colors of the Galaxy Note 9 available in the US, Ocean Blue, Lavender  Purple and Cloud Silver. There is a Midnight Black color that will be available later this month. The Copper color is still only available outside of the US however.

Background: The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was announced back in August as the company’s latest flagship smartphone. Samsung took a lot of what people loved about the Galaxy Note 8, and changed what people didn’t love, to make the Galaxy Note 9. That included a much larger capacity battery, rated at 4000mAh capacity instead of 3300mAh that the Galaxy Note 8 sported. There is also a slightly larger display, at 6.4-inches, with a Quad HD+ Super AMOLED panel here. This is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage – there is also a 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage model available. Samsung of course has dual 12-megapixel cameras on the backside of the Galaxy Note 9 here, which is going to provide some great pictures.

Impact: The Cloud Silver color gives potential Galaxy Note 9 buyers another color choice for the new device. It is actually a silver backside with a light blue frame, which does offer a pretty interesting color for a smartphone. The S Pen is also blue to match the frame of this device, much like the Ocean Blue color, with a different colored S Pen. The S Pen will also use blue ink when writing on the screen, for screen-off memos. If you are interested in the Galaxy Note 9 in Cloud Silver, you can pick one up using the link down below.
