The Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ are, needless to say, amongst the most anticipated smartphones of 2019, and the possible design for these two handsets has just leaked, along with their front panels, and all this info is coming from Ice universe, a well-known tipster. Having said that, it seems like the Galaxy S10 will utilize a single display camera hole, while the Galaxy S10+ will have two such holes on the front. Those cameras will be placed in the upper-right corner of the display in both cases, and it seems like the bottom bezel on both phones will be so thin, that it will be almost non-existent. These two devices will share the same design, at least on the front, with the exception of those display camera holes, so the Galaxy S10 will offer more display to the user, at least if the percentage is concerned, as the Galaxy S10+ will have a larger panel, of course.
Now, if you look at the second and third image in the gallery down below, you will be able to see two front panels for the Galaxy S10+, and what seems to be an actual image of the device. The Galaxy S10 and S10+, based on these images, will sport a curved display, and a dedicated Bixby button will be a part of the package yet again. The phone’s power / lock button will be included on the right side of the phone, while the Bixby button will sit on the left, along with the volume up and volume down keys.
Background: Rumors are saying that Samsung is actually planning to release at least three variants of the Galaxy S10 in 2019, the Galaxy S10, S10+, and the “premium” Galaxy S10 model which will ship with 5G support, ceramic back, and six cameras overall. The Galaxy S10+ is expected to have either four or five cameras, and the same goes for the Galaxy S10, as those two phones won’t have four cameras on the back, like the “premium” model is rumored to sport. All the Galaxy S10 models will probably be available in both Snapdragon 8150 / 855 and Exynos 9820 variants, while the Galaxy S10 and S10+ will probably ship with at least 6GB of RAM, while the “premium” model is rumored to include a whopping 12GB of RAM. Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on all Galaxy S10 units, with Samsung’s One UI skin on top of it.
Impact: The Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ price tags will probably be comparable with this year’s models, while the “premium” model will be considerably more expensive, at least if rumors are to be considered. In any case, the Galaxy S10 units will look considerably different than the Galaxy S9 models, which is not that surprising considering that the company tends to change up the design after two years. It remains to be seen if users will like those cameras which are placed in the display, as they’re quite obstructive, similar to notches, and not what Samsung’s users are used to, as Samsung is one of the very few companies which is sticking to notch-free designs.
