Three variants of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 have been spotted in Brazil, and on top of that, a seemingly official teaser for the Galaxy S10 has popped up on Weibo (Chinese social network). That being said, the Samsung EB-BG973ABU, EB-BG975ABU, and EB-BG970ABU models surfaced in Brazil’s National Telecom Agency. These three models are allegedly the Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10 Lite aka S10 E, respectively, and this essentially means that they were certified in Brazil.
That being said, this is not the first time that these three variants were spotted in Brazil, but this certification basically fixes the mistake that occurred last time, as last time around, all three phones were said to sport 3,000mAh batteries. This time around, the Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10 E are said to ship with 3,300mAh, 4,000mAh, and 3,000mAh battery packs, respectively.
In addition to these certifications, the Galaxy S10 teaser appeared on Weibo, as previously mentioned. This teaser got re-uploaded to YouTube, for your convenience, and it has been embedded below this article. The teaser itself is not exactly revealing, as it is basically counting down Galaxy S series smartphones until it reaches the Galaxy S10. At that point, it simply lets us all know to get ready for the 10th edition of the Galaxy S series, but it does not show us a glimpse of a phone or anything of the sort, which was to be expected considering this is just a teaser video.
The Story So Far
Samsung is expected to announce four Galaxy S10 smartphones this year, all of which may arrive on February 20 during the company’s Unpacked event in San Francisco, though there is a chance that the top-of-the-line variant will arrive at a later date… we’ll just have to wait and see what will happen.
The Galaxy S10, S10+, S10 Lite aka S10 E, and S10 X aka most powerful S10+ variant are all expected to make a debut. The first three phones will be made out of metal and glass, while the last one will combine metal and ceramic, as it will ship with a ceramic backplate. Other than that, all of these phones will be quite similar in terms of the design, and will offer the same general shape.
The Galaxy S10 is said to ship with three rear-facing cameras, and one front-facing one, while the S10+ will include three cameras on the back, and two on the front. The Galaxy S10 E is rumored to sport two cameras on the back, and one on the front, while the most powerful Galaxy S10 variant will either include three or four cameras on the back, and two on the front.
All the Galaxy S10 units will be fueled by either the Exynos 9820 or Snapdragon 855, depending on the market, and all will ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box, and Samsung’s new One UI overlay on top of it. The Galaxy S10 and S10+ will probably include at least 6GB of RAM, the S10 E may ship with 4GB of RAM, while the S10 X is rumored to include either 10GB or 12GB of RAM. The Galaxy S10 X is also said to ship with 5G support, and will be the only Galaxy S10 model to offer such connectivity.
Now, in terms of display sizes and other display-related info, the Galaxy S10 E will be the only phone to sport a flat display, and it is expected to utilize a fullHD+ OLED panel. The Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10 X will include QHD+ curved OLED displays. Those four devices are said to ship with 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch, 6.4-inch, and 6.7-inch displays, respectively.
