A well-known tipster, @evleaks (aka Evan Blass), has shared a new image on his Twitter account, sharing a partial design of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 series. In the provided image, we get to see the Galaxy S10E, S10, and S10+ (respectively), and they’re all sporting regular silicone cases.
Having said that, you will notice that the whole back side is visible in these images, plus part of the front of these three devices. Now, previous rumors said that the Galaxy S10E will ship with two rear-facing cameras, which this leak confirms, but it seems like the Galaxy S10 will sport three cameras on the back, not two like rumors suggested. The Galaxy S10+ will also include three cameras on the back, it seems.
In the provided image, you also get to take a look at the physical keys on all of these phones, and even though the Bixby key was a given, it’s still a bit disappointing it’s here, and I believe that most of you would agree with that. Samsung keeps on pushing its digital assistant, which goes against the user’s wishes, but it is what it is. The Bixby key is located right below the volume up and down buttons on the left, while the power / lock key can be found on the right.
Now, if you take a closer look at the front side of each of these phones, you will spot their front-facing camera(s) which are located in the upper-right portion of each phone. The Galaxy S10E and S10 feature a single camera there, while the Galaxy S10+ comes with two selfie cameras. These cameras are included in the display, so you will basically get display holes, which won’t exactly be acceptable by everyone, but there you go. Truth be said, in my eyes, display holes are just as bad as notches, if not worse, as they cannot be hidden via software, but that’s just me.
All three of these smartphones will be made out of metal and glass, while they will sport basically the same design, save for the camera count on each of these phones, of course. The Galaxy S10E will be the smallest, and will be followed by the Galaxy S10 and S10+, respectively, as those three devices are expected to sport 5.8, 6.1, and 6.4-inch Super AMOLED displays. The Galaxy S10E will probably ship with a flat display, while the other two phones will offer curved displays.
What About The Fourth Galaxy S10-Branded handset?
Most of you will probably notice that there’s something missing here, the 5G-enabled Galaxy S10. That phone is expected to arrive at a later date, not on February 20, when the company will debut its Galaxy S10 series, at least according to rumors, as there is a chance all four devices will be presented.
The 5G-enabled Galaxy S10 smartphone will allegedly be called the Galaxy S10X or Galaxy S10 X, and aside from supporting 5G, it will ship with a ceramic back cover, 10GB or 12GB of RAM, and a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED, QHD+, curved display. Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on this phone, same as on every other Galaxy S10 unit.
