A review video of the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ was uploaded and made available on YouTube recently, and while the content is no longer available on the streaming service, viewers managed to take some screenshots while it was still up. Those screenshots more or less confirm the design of the two devices, and you can check them out in the gallery down below.
The latest leak confirms earlier reports that the Galaxy S10 will feature a single front-facing camera housed in a circular cutout at the upper right-hand side of the display, while the more expensive Galaxy S10+ will sport two selfie cameras contained inside a pill-shaped cutout.
The leak also substantiates previous reports, which state that the Galaxy S10 will have a 6.1-inch display, while the Galaxy S10+ will include a larger 6.4-inch screen. Both devices will sport a horizontally-arranged triple rear camera setup, while an LED flash and a heart rate sensor will be located next to them.
Samsung’s latest flagships will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack. Located at the bottom part of the handset along with audio connector are the USB Type-C port and the cutouts for the loudspeaker and the microphone. Both smartphones will also sport an in-display fingerprint sensor, and the leak shows that whenever the person tries to unlock the device, the user interface will show an outline of a fingerprint, which indicates the approximate location of the fingerprint reader at the lower half of the screen.
Aside from the hardware features of the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+, the leak also shows that the handsets will retain camera features like AR Emoji, a functionality that allows users to make a 3D representation of themselves, and the visual search feature Bixby Vision.
A screenshot of the video also shows the Galaxy Buds along with its carrying case. Earlier rumors claim that Samsung will offer this accessory to consumers who will pre-order the Galaxy S10 and that the upcoming premium handsets can charge the accessory through reverse wireless charging.
Samsung will launch the Galaxy S10 lineup on February 20th, and as the launch of the device comes closer, more details about the handset are revealed through leaks and the company’s own promotional materials. Aside from the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+, Samsung will also reportedly launch two more handsets as part of the Galaxy S10 series, namely the Galaxy S10e and the 5G-capable version of the Galaxy S10+.
Depending on the market, these smartphones may sport either the Exynos 9820 or the Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Galaxy S10 may include either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and rumors show that it will be available in variants with either 128GB or 512GB of internal flash storage. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S10+ will also have a variant with 12TB of RAM (in addition to 6GB and 8GB RAM models), and Samsung may include 128GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal flash storage with the device.
Rear cameras of both the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ will feature two 12-megapixel sensors and one 16-megapixel module, while the selfie shooter of the two handsets will sport one 10-megapixel sensor. However, the Galaxy S10+ will also feature an additional 8-megapixel front camera.
Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone offerings will showcase the latest technological advancements, both in smartphone hardware and software, of the South Korean tech giant. More details about the Galaxy S10’s availability and pricing will become available on the handset’s launch event scheduled on February 20th.
