The Samsung Galaxy S10e has just leaked yet again, this time around as part of a leaked poster. In an image provided above, you can see the Canary Yellow Galaxy S10e, which is the most eye-popping color of the device that we’ve seen thus far, whether you like it or not. Samsung’s February 20 Unpacked event is mentioned on this poster, while the “Premium fun. For everyone” slogan is also listed here.
That slogan actually fits this device really well, as the Galaxy S10e will be the most affordable Galaxy S10 flagship, and Samsung is clearly going with a lighter tone when it comes to this phone. The Galaxy S10e will share many specs with its big brothers, and the same can be said about its design.
The Galaxy S10e will be made out of metal and glass, and it will sport two cameras on the back. Those two cameras will be horizontally-aligned, and next to them you’ll notice an LED flash, and an additional sensor. It is worth saying that rumors are claiming that is not a heart rate sensor, as the S10e will be the only Galaxy S10-branded phone not to support a heart-rate sensor.
The back side of this phone will be curved, while the phone will include a flat display on the front, unlike the Galaxy S10 and S10+. A single front-facing camera will be included inside the phone’s display, in the top-right corner, while the display itself will feature rounded corners. A side-facing fingerprint scanner will be included in this package, and it will be located on the right.
The Galaxy S10e will be the smallest Galaxy S10-branded phone, it will feature a 5.8-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display, 6GB / 8GB of RAM, and it will be fueled by either the Exynos 9820 or Snapdragon 855 SoC, depending on the market. A 3,100mAh battery will be included in this package as well, while Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on the device, along with Samsung’s One UI overlay. The Galaxy S10e will clearly be Samsung’s competitor for the iPhone XR.
Galaxy S10e’s Siblings
The Galaxy S10 and S10+ will also be announced on February 20 in San Francisco. The Galaxy S10 will include a single camera on the front, just like the Galaxy S10e, but it will sport three cameras on the back, identical to the Galaxy S10+. Both phones will sport in-display fingerprint scanners, while both of them will ship with curved QHD+ OLED displays.
The Galaxy S10 is said to sport a 6.1-inch QHD+ OLED panel, while the Galaxy S10+ will include a 6.4-inch QHD+ OLED display. Both devices will be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM flavors, while the top-of-the-line variant of the Galaxy S10+ will sport 12GB of RAM. That 12GB RAM variant of the phone will also include a ceramic backplate, and rumors are even saying that it will support 5G connectivity, though it remains to be seen what will Samsung announce.
All of these devices will be presented on February 20, and Samsung may even mention its upcoming foldable devices during that event as well. Some rumors even claim that Samsung will announce its foldable smartphone during the Unpacked event, but that’s not as likely, as the company probably does not want to remove the Galaxy S10 series from the spotlight.
