Swiss wearable manufacturer MyKronoz introduced its latest range of products at Mobile World Congress, including two wireless earbuds models as well as a new activity tracker and three fresh smartwatches called the ZeNeo, ZeRound3, and ZeRound 3 Lite.
The MyKronoz ZePods and ZePods+ wireless earbuds rely on Bluetooth 5 connectivity and house a 40mAh battery promising up to 5 hours of playtime on a single charge. The main aspect differentiating the two models is the charging case itself in terms of both capabilities and exterior design.
The ZePods come with a USB Type-C charging case featuring its own 400mAh battery which should add an additional 15 hours of playtime, whereas the ZePods+ earbuds are paired with a Qi-certified wireless charging case boasting an extra 20 hours of playtime on a single charge.
In addition, the OEM claims that the USB Type-C charging case has an exterior design which was inspired by lighters and looks quite similar to such products manufactured by the Zippo brand. Presumably, the “ZePods” moniker itself is a nod to the popular U.S.-based lighter manufacturer. On the other hand, the wireless charging case paired with the ZePods+ has been inspired by the design of Swiss traditional pocket watches. Finally, the USB Type-C case and wireless earbuds will launch in six different colors, while the Qi-charging-based counterpart has been showcased only in black.
Moving on to wrist wearables, the ZeTrack Bluetooth 4.0 LE activity tracker is equipped with a 100mAh battery providing up to 5 days of usage on a single charge. It has a 3-axis accelerometer and an optical heart rate sensor, along with a 0.96-inch IPS LCD display featuring a resolution of 127 by 64 pixels.
Then there is the ZeNeo smartwatch shaped like an activity tracker and featuring its own optical heart rate sensor along with a 6-axis accelerometer. It’s equipped with a 220mAh battery, a 1.14-inch IPS LCD display with a pixel count of 240 by 135, and offers support for Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.2 LE connectivity.
The ZeRound3 Lite full-fledged smartwatch has a 1.2-inch TFT display and a 260mAh battery that should last up to 3 days on a single charge, while the ZeRound3 has a 1.22-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 390 by 390 pixels, and relies on a larger 350mAh battery providing up to 5 days of usage on a single charge. Both smartwatch models have a 3-axis accelerometer and optical heart rate sensor and offer Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.2 LE connectivity.
The new MyKronoz wrist wearables offer IP67 water resistance whereas the wireless earbuds promise an IPX4 ingress rating and sweat resistance.
The USB Type-C-based ZePods will launch in April for $79.90, while the ZePods+ will become available in the second half of the year for $99.90. Meanwhile, the ZeTrack and ZeRound 3 wrist wearables will be available in March for $29.90 and $99.90, respectively, whereas the ZeNeo and ZeRound3 Lite will hit the shelves in April for an MSRP of $59.90 and $79.90.
All of the company’s upcoming wearable products are compatible with mobile devices powered by iOS and Android OS, and the latest smartwatch models complement the existing ZeSport2 smartwatch as well as the ZePop and ZeTime2 hybrid smartwatches available for purchase through the official MyKronoz website.
