Huawei P30 Pro Handled In A Video Yet Again, Design Reconfirmed

Huawei will introduce its new flagship smartphones tomorrow in Paris, and a last-minute leak gives us yet another solid look at the phone. If you check out the embedded video down below, you’ll be able to see the Huawei P30 Pro in the flesh, as someone filmed yet another hands-on video with the device.

This video is very short, but it gives you a good look at both the front and back sides of the phone. As you can see, the Huawei P30 Pro will sport three cameras on the back, some sensors next to those cameras, and a fingerprint scanner is not visible here, as it will be included below the phone’s display.

This is some sort of a gradient color variant of the Huawei P30 Pro, as it combines purple, white and blue colors. The phone’s rear-facing cameras do protrude a bit, and the phone’s back side is curved.

This leak also reconfirms that the phone’s physical keys will be located on the right, its power / lock, volume up, and volume down buttons. The phone’s display will be curved, even though that is not particularly obvious here, as the display is almost entirely black, but previous leaks did confirm it.

The Huawei P30 Pro will launch alongside two siblings

The Huawei P30 Pro is not the only phone that the company will show off tomorrow, the Huawei P30 and P30 Lite will also arrive. The Huawei P30 will actually be quite similar to the P30 Pro, while the P30 Lite will be different, as it will be a mid-range smartphone.

The Huawei P30 Pro will share the design of the P30 Pro, but unlike its larger sibling, it will include a flat display, and a somewhat different camera setup on the back, even though it will include three cameras back there as well. The P30 will also ship with an in-display fingerprint scanner, and if rumors are to be believed, both phones will include fullHD+ AMOLED displays, even though the P30 Pro’s will be larger. The P30 Pro will also include a larger battery on the inside, of course.

The Kirin 980 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, as that is the most powerful processor that Huawei has to offer at the moment. Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on both devices, along with a new version of Huawei’s Emotion UI Android overlay. That new version will probably bring a couple of new features to the table, but it will not be vastly different than what shipped on the Huawei Mate 20 and 20 Pro.

The Huawei P30 is rumored to include a 6.1-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display, while the P30 Pro will sport a 6.47-inch fullHD+ AMOLED panel. The Huawei P30 is said to include 6GB of RAM and ship with 128GB of storage, while the P30 Pro will include 8GB of RAM and arrive in three storage variants. Both phones will offer microSD storage expansion, and both phones will ship with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. The P30 will include a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the P30 Pro will not, but it will ship with an IR blaster, which is a sensor that the P30 will not sport.
