Realistic Concept Details OnePlus 7's Possible Design: Video

The OnePlus 7’s arrival is expected in May, even though OnePlus didn’t confirm anything just yet, and as we’re waiting for more info to surfaced, a YouTube channel called “Waqar Khan” has released a OnePlus 7 concept.

In this video, that has a duration of three and a half minutes, you can see the device which is modeled as per leaks that we’ve seen thus far. In other words, this design may actually be quite close to the final design that OnePlus will announce in a couple of months.

As you can see, this handset is made out of metal and glass, and it actually has a similar overall shape as its predecessor. Unlike its predecessor, however, this phone includes three cameras on the back, and those three cameras are centered, and vertically-aligned. An LED flash is placed right below those cameras, as is the company’s logo. All three cameras protrude on the back, a bit.

The phone’s back side is curved, and the phone also includes a curved glass on the front, even though its display is not curved. The power / lock key is included on the right-hand side of the device, while an alert slider lies right above it. The volume up and down buttons are placed on the left-hand side of the device.

As you can see, this phone does not have a display notch, or a display cutout, as the phone’s front-facing camera is tucked away inside of the device, it’s hidden. The camera pops up from the phone’s body when it is activated via the camera application.

The phone is almost completely bezel-less, but it does have a really thin chin below the display, which is almost not even noticeable, as it is almost as thin as the rest of the phone’s bezels. A Type-C USB port is included on the bottom of the device, along with the phone’s loudspeaker.

The device is shown in several colors in this concept video, most of which are gradient. One color variant combines blue and silver color, the other utilizes black and purple ones. The third color options combine yellow and black colors, while the last one shows a pure black variant of the phone. OnePlus is actually rumored to offer more color options for its flagship this time around, at launch, and some color variants even leaked recently, so it’s possible there’s some truth here.

The OnePlus 7 leaked in renders quite recently, and those renders actually came from a rather reliable source. This design is clearly modeled after those renders, so it’s quite possible that the real OnePlus 7 will resemble this concept device quite a bit.

The OnePlus 7 is expected to sport a 6.5-inch fullHD+ Optic AMOLED display, at least according to rumors. The phone’s base model will include at least 6GB of RAM, while a rather large battery is expected to be included in the package as well. The Snapdragon 855 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the phone, while Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on it, along with OxygenOS.

The OnePlus 7 will not include 5G connectivity, but OnePlus is planning to introduce a completely separate flagship which will support 5G. That handset is also expected to arrive in the near future, and it will be considerably more expensive than the OnePlus 7.
