Leak Spells Out OnePlus 7 Model Differences

Some additional spec info regarding the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro surfaced on Twitter, courtesy of Max J., a man behind the Samsung_News Twitter account. Many sources have released pieces of info regarding the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, while the source kind of confirms some of that info, while he also added some additional tidbits that you may not have been aware of.

Let’s start with the more affordable OnePlus 7 handset, the regular OnePlus 7 variant. According to the source, the phone will feature a 6.4-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080), and this is probably the very same 6.41-inch panel that the company included on the OnePlus 6T, at least the size seems to be the same.

The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 855 64-bit octa-core processor, while the source claims that the phone will arrive in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, with 128GB and 256GB of storage, respectively.

He also mentioned that a 3,700mAh battery will be included in the package as well, along with 20W charging. Unlike the OnePlus 7 Pro, the OnePlus 7 will include two cameras on the back, those two cameras will be vertically-aligned, and according to the provided info, we’re looking at 48-megapixel (f/1.7 aperture) and 5-megapixel (depth sensor) cameras.

The OnePlus 7 Pro and 7 Pro 5G will include a 6.7-inch QHD+ (3120 x 1440) display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The two devices will be completely identical it seems, save for the latter phone’s 5G connectivity. The Oneplus 7 Pro will also be fueled by the Snapdragon 855, while it will be available in 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM variants.

The 6GB RAM variant will ship with 128GB of storage, while the 8GB and 12GB models will include 256GB of storage. It is still unclear whether the 12GB RAM model is reserved for the 5G-enabled OnePlus 7 Pro, but that will probably be the case.

The source also mentions that the OnePlus 7 Pro will include UFS 3.0 flash storage, and considering that the same info was not shared for the OnePlus 7, it is possible that OnePlus aims to include UFS 2.1 in the OnePlus 7, but we’re not sure yet.

A 4,000mAh battery will be included in the OnePlus 7 Pro, and will support 30W Warp Charge. An in-display fingerprint scanner will be a part of the offering as well, and that probably goes for the OnePlus 7 as well.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will include 48-megapixel (f/1.6 aperture, OIS, EIS), 8-megapixel (3x zoom, f/2.4 aperture), and 16-megapixel (117-degree, wide-angle lens, f/2.2 aperture) cameras on the back. A single 16-megapixel camera (f/2.0 aperture) will sit on the phone’s front side, and this is a pop-up camera, just to be clear.

The source did mention that the OnePlus 7 Pro will arrive in Blue, Gray, and Brown color options. So, it seems like we will not see two black-colored OnePlus flagships this time around, instead, the company is choosing to add some color to the mix.

In addition to sharing all this info regarding the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, the source also said that OnePlus will be launching the Bullets Wireless 2 earphones, but he was unable to share the specifics.
