OPPO Reno Pro Flagship Looks Stunning In This Concept Video

The OPPO Reno series will be announced on April 10, the company confirmed, whereas a new concept design inspired by rumors about the incoming series of Android handsets just appeared on YouTube.

The OPPO Reno Pro concept envisions the company’s upcoming flagship, and this design is actually based on leaks that we’ve seen, so it’s possible that it is not far from the final design of the phone. This video has been published by Concept Creator, a rather well-known YouTube channel, at least in mobile tech circles, as it constantly pushes out smartphone concept designs.

As you can see, the OPPO Reno Pro concept is made out of metal and glass, while its bezels are basically non-existent, the bottom bezel is a hair thicker than the rest of them, but that is barely noticeable. The phone’s display sports rounded corners, and it doesn’t have display notches, display holes.

The back side of this phone is curved, and you will notice three cameras on the back, three vertically-aligned cameras. The third camera from the top is a periscope-like camera, as you’ll notice by its shape. The sensor is not exactly located right behind the lens, as this camera setup reflects images in an interesting way and allows for extreme zoom capability, similar to what Huawei presented with the P30 Pro. Those three cameras do protrude on the back, a bit.

The power / lock key is located on the right-hand side of this phone, same goes for the phone’s SIM card tray. The volume up and down buttons are placed on the left, while the phone’s loudspeaker, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Type-C USB port can be found on the bottom.

As previously mentioned, this design is quite probably quite similar to what an actual OPPO flagship will bring in a couple of days, as it is modeled by leaks. The OPPO Reno Pro will be joined by a regular mid-range model, possibly called the OPPO Reno, and that variant will be fueled by the Snapdragon 710 instead of Snapdragon 855, and it will not include the periscope camera on the back, like the Pro model.

The OPPO Reno Pro is also expected to include at least 6GB of RAM on the inside, though chances are more than one RAM variant will be available, same goes for the phone’s storage, in fact. The device is also said to sport a rather large battery on the inside, as well as a large fullHD+ OLED display.

Now, some of you are probably wondering where is this phone’s front-facing camera, well, the device offers a pop-up camera setup, it’s actually referred to as a triangle camera setup, as it has a triangle shape when it pops up. This is the first time we’re seeing such a pop-up camera setup, even though many phones out there have pop up cameras already. By the look of things, we will see two OPPO Reno-branded phones announced on April 10, though some rumors claimed that more than two may arrive. We’ll just have to wait for the announcement to take place in order to be sure.
