Google Fiber Case For The Pixel 3a (XL) Now Available For $40 – Google I/O 2019

Google had introduced its very first Pixel-branded mid-rangers during Google I/O 2019 keynote, and both devices are already available from purchase from the Google Store. Well, in case you want to get a case for either of the two phones, you’re in luck, as Google has also listed its Fiber case for both of these phones.

The Google Pixel 3a Fiber case is priced at $40, and that very same price tag applies to the Pixel 3a XL’s case as well. There are three color variants available, Carbon, Fog, and Seascape, that goes for both phones. You can check them out in the gallery down below, and a purchase link is available below the article.

The Google Fiber case for the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL is essentially the same as for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. It has that fiber feel, and it provides a bit of grip, of course. Google’s logo is placed on its back, while the buttons are covered. This case will protect corners of your Pixel 3a (XL) phone, but do keep in mind that the top and bottom portions are not fully covered.

The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a XL are actually identical in terms of the design, though different in size, as leaks have been suggesting for weeks. These two phones are made out of polycarbonate, so they do not offer the more premium build like the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The two phones are extremely similar to the Pixel 3 in terms of the design, though.

The two devices are actually extremely similar in terms of specs as well, as both are fueled by the Snapdragon 670 64-bit octa-core processor by Qualcomm, and both ship with 4GB of RAM. These two phones come with 64GB of internal storage, and that is basically the only option that you have in terms of storage.

A 12.2-megapixel camera is included on the back side of these two phones, the same camera that sits on the back of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. If that camera manages to capture pictures that are as good as the ones on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will be amongst the most compelling mid-range phones in terms of camera quality.

A single 8-megapixel camera sits on the front side of these two phones, and both devices include a regular capacitive fingerprint scanner on the back. The Pixel 3a includes a 5.6-inch fullHD+ OLED display, while the Pixel 3a XL comes with a larger 6-inch fullHD+ OLED panel. The Pixel 3a includes a 3,000mAh battery, while the Pixel 3a XL sports a 3,700mAh unit.

Both of these phones ship with Google’s vanilla Android 9 Pie, and will be getting updates for directly from the company, of course. Both devices are already available for purchase directly from Google, and the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are priced at $399 and $479, respectively.

That is the US price tag of the two phones, and they will also be available from a number of US carriers, including T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, and US Cellular, later today. The two phones will also go on sale in a number of markets outside of the US, and for a full list, check our official Google Pixel 3a (XL) announcement post linked in the first paragraph.
