OUKITEL has just released a full spec sheet for the OUKITEL K12. This smartphone was announced in mid-April, and the company says that it will become available for purchase in early June.
Let’s get down to the specs, shall we. The OUKITEL K12 features a 6.3-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) display, while it is fueled by the Helio P35 64-bit octa-core processor. That is MediaTek’s mid-range, 12nm processor.
The phone includes 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while it supports storage expansion via a microSD card, you’ll be able to expand its storage up to 128GB. A 10,000mAh battery is included in this phone and it supports 5V/6A fast charging.
On the back of the device, you will be able to find 16-megapixel (Sony’s IMX298 sensor) and 2-megapixel cameras, while a single 8-megapixel camera is included on the device’s front side. Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on this device, and OUKITEL will include some of its own software features on the device.
The phone supports 4G LTE connectivity, while it measures 163.5 x 75.4 x 14.5mm. We do not know how much will it weight just yet, but we do know that it will be available in a Black color variant only, at least initially.
The company has also released a new promo video for the OUKITEL K12, a video in which it focuses on the design of the device. That video has a duration of about a minute, and it is embedded down below.
The OUKITEL K12 sports a teardrop notch at the top of the display, while it does ship with a bezel below the display. The company’s branding is included on that bezel, while you will notice that OUKITEL included leather on the back of the phone.
Its rear-facing cameras are vertically-aligned, while a fingerprint scanner sits right below them. A dual-LED flash is located right next to the two cameras, while the company’s branding sits on the back of the device as well.
The main selling point of this phone is definitely its battery, and it does seem like a solid addition to the company’s K series of devices. We’re still not sure how much will the phone cost, but the company may release such info in the near future, so stay tuned for that. OUKITEL is also expected to announce the exact date when the phone will become available, that will probably happen in the next couple of weeks.
