Samsung Galaxy Note10 Won't Win Beauty Contests: Tipster

According to a new tip provided by Ishan Agarwal, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note10 may not look as great as some of you may think. Mr. Agarwal said that the “Note10 is gonna look bad”, while he added “maybe not Piel 3 XL notch level, but the person described it as very ugly”.

So, it seems like Mr. Agarwal received a tip from someone familiar with the Galaxy Note10’s upcoming design, and considering that Samsung allegedly plans to release both the Galaxy Note10 and Note10 Pro this year, we’re not sure if the source is talking about both phones, or just the regular Galaxy Note10.

What’s interesting here, is that Mr. Agarwal seems to be referring to the general design of the Galaxy Note10, as it is putting the Pixel 3 XL notch into the context, though he is a part of the conversation regarding the phone’s camera setup.

A well-known YouTuber, iJustine, shared Concept Creator’s iPhone XI concept, and basically said that she wants that design. Both Mrwhosetheboss and Marques Brownlee made some jokes about the design of the camera setup on that phone, while Max Weinbach said that the “Note10 will look worse”. That’s when Ishan Agarwal stepped in and reconfirmed what Mr. Weinbach said, basically.

So, in the end, it’s possible that the design cue is camera-related only, we’ll have to wait and see. In any case, you can expect the design to be slightly less eye-pleasing than you think, at least based on what Ishan Agarwal said.

The Galaxy Note10 series is expected to sport a display camera hole(s), just like the Galaxy S10 series. Samsung is actually expected to shrink down those display holes, even, so the information provided by Mr. Agarwal probably relates to the back side of the Galaxy Note10, not its front side.

The Samsung Galaxy Note10 series is expected to arrive in August, a year after the Galaxy Note9, and the company is expected to release both the Galaxy Note10 and Note10 Pro in two variants. Both of those devices are rumored to arrive in 4G and 5G variants.

It is still unclear what will be the difference between the two phones in terms of the design, but rumors are claiming that the Galaxy Note10 Pro will be larger than the regular Note10. That phone will probably also be a bit more powerful than the regular Note10, but we’re basing that presumption only on the “Pro” name.

Both devices are expected to arrive in Snapdragon 855 and Exynos 9820 variants, just like the Galaxy S10 series. The Snapdragon 855 variants will be available in China and the US, while the Exynos 9820 models will ship to Europe and India.

Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on these two phones, while the two devices are expected to be made out of metal and glass. Ceramic variant(s) may become a reality as well, though, we’ll see. All in all, plenty more rumors / leaks regarding the Galaxy Note10 will arrive in the coming weeks / months, as we’re still several months away from the expected launch event, so get ready for that.
