OUKITEL Y4800 vs Redmi Note 7 Camera Shootout: Video

OUKITEL has shared a new video on its YouTube channel, this time around, the company is showing off the OUKITEL Y4800’s camera quality. OUKITEL has decided to compare pictures taken on the OUKITEL Y4800 to the images taken with the Redmi Note 7.

In this video which has a duration of almost two minutes, you will see quite a few camera samples, in various lighting conditions. Do note that the OUKITEL Y4800 is a budget phone, so the quality of these images are not flagship-level, but the pictures look okay, and can compete with the Redmi Note 7.

The OUKITEL Y4800 actually comes with a 48-megapixel main camera, OUKITEL opted to include Samsung’s GM1 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. We’re looking at a 0.8um pixel size here, and that’s not a bad sensor to have in a budget phone, at all.

In addition to a 48-megapixel camera on the back, OUKITEL also included a 5-megapixel unit. On the front, the phone sports a 16-megapixel camera. The phone’s front-facing camera is included in a teardrop notch, while the rear-facing ones are placed in the top-left corner of the phone’s back side, and they do protrude a bit.

The OUKITEL Y4800 doesn’t really have thick bezels, at all, they’re quite thin for a phone in this price range, and the thickest one is its bottom bezel. The device features a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and two SIM card slots.

The MediaTek Helio P70 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, while the device includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A 4,000mAh battery is also included in the package, and it supports 9V/2A charging.

The OUKITEL Y4800 features a 6.3-inch fullHD+ display, while it supports global 4G LTE bands. Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on this device, and this is a rather clean version of Android, without any bloat, though OUKITEL did include some of its own software in there.

This handset will become available for pre-order on July 22, and that pre-order period will last until July 29. During that time, the device will be priced at $199.99, while its usual price tag is $249.99. You’ll be able to pre-order this phone from Banggood, via the link included down below.
