OUKITEL had released several comparisons between the OUKITEL Y4800 and Redmi Note 7 Pro thus far, and a new one has just arrived. This time around, the company opted to compare battery life of those two devices.

Both the OUKITEL Y4800 and Redmi Note 7 Pro come with a 4,000mAh battery, and both feature a 6.3-inch fullHD+ display. They are actually similar in many other ways, which is why the company opted to compare them so many times.

OUKITEL filmed this battery comparison, and the video is embedded down below, for your convenience. The video has a duration of approximately four minutes, and OUKITEL submitted the two devices to three different tests.

The first test included one hour of online movie playing, while both phones were fully charged for this battery test, and they were both set at 100-percent brightness, not to mention that volume was set to 100-percent as well. After one hour of online movie playing, the OUKITEL Y4800 had 88-percent of battery charge left, while the Redmi Note 7 Pro was left with 78-percent.

The second test included one hour of video recording, and that drained an additional 8-percent from the OUKITEL Y4800’s battery charge, so the phone was left with 70-percent of battery charge. The Redmi Note 7 Pro, on the other hand, was left with 55-percent of battery charge.

For the third, and last test, OUKITEL played one hour of online music on both devices. Once that test was over, the OUKITEL Y4800 had 55-percent of battery left, while the Redmi Note 7 Pro stood at 27-percent.

As you can see, the OUKITEL Y4800 did fairly better in this battery test, despite the fact these two phones sport the same battery size, and the same display size, with the exact same resolution. Their processors are a bit different, though, the Helio P70 64-bit octa-core chip from MediaTek fuels the OUKITEL Y4800, while the Snapdragon 675 64-bit octa-core processor fuels the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

The two devices are fairly similar in terms of design as well. Both of them include a “chin” below the display, and a waterdrop notch as well. Two cameras are located on the back of these two phones, and those cameras are placed in the top-left corner of the back side of both devices. You will also find a fingerprint scanner on the back of both phones.

It’s quite obvious why OUKITEL opted to compare its new Y4800 handset with the Redmi Note 7 Pro, the two phones are quite similar, and the company seems the Y4800 as a more affordable alternative to the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

The OUKITEL Y4800 is still not available for purchase, but you can subscribe to the e-mailing list on Banggood, and the site will let you know once the phone is available.
