Popular leakster, Evleaks, has just leaked out a promotional image of the upcoming Galaxy Note10+, nearly a month before Samsung will officially announce the device.
The Galaxy Note10+ has leaked quite a bit over the past few weeks, alongside the Galaxy Note10. These two devices are slated to be announced on August 7 at the company’s Unpacked event in New York City. The Galaxy Note10+ is going to be the larger, and likely more popular of the two devices. It also is slated to have some more “pro” features than the regular Galaxy Note10 – like a micro SD card slot.
Now this picture does leave one question unanswered, and that is the headphone jack. We’ve heard rumors saying that it both does and does not have one. And since this picture is showing the device from the top of the device, we cannot see all four sides. Samsung also usually has the headphone jack at the bottom of the phone. This could be Samsung hiding the fact that the headphone jack is gone, because these promotional images do usually show the device right side up instead of upside down.
It also confirms a few other things like the centered camera in the hole-punch display. There are also the pretty thin bezels and the curved display. Though it’s hard to tell from this image, the curves do look more pronounced than they were on the Galaxy S10 from earlier this year. And of course, there is the S Pen. It doesn’t look like it has changed much – other than getting a paint job. Though most of the changes are going to be internally and/or in the software. So there’s that.
Looking at what would be the right side of the device, we can see a volume rocker and another button below it. Many believe that is the power button, even though that is where the Bixby button has been on Samsung devices since the Galaxy S8. Other images we’ve seen – including the ones from the FCC – show that those are the only two buttons on the device. Which could mean that the power button has moved to the left-side and there’s no more Bixby button. That would make almost everyone, happy.
Since this is coming from Evleaks, the likelihood of this being 100-percent accurate, is pretty high. While he has been wrong a few times over the years, his accuracy is still in the high 90s. So take this as basically a confirmation of what the Galaxy Note10+ looks like. Especially since it does line up with all of the recent leaks that we have seen for the Galaxy Note10+, and it does definitely look like the promo image that Samsung will release with the device.
Samsung will officially unveil it on August 7 in New York City, and we’ll get to see everything that the Galaxy Note10+ has to offer (as well as the standard Galaxy Note10). But don’t expect this to be a cheap phone, especially the larger plus version, which is likely going to be closer to around $1200.
