The Samsung Galaxy Note10+ isn’t expected to be announced until August 7. But the leaks are still coming in. This time, it comes from Twitter user @TechTalkTV who has posted pictures of the Galaxy Note10+ out in the wild.
As is the case with most of these ‘real life’ leaks, the pictures of the Galaxy Note10+ are not great. There is an image of the backside, but it’s really tough to make anything out. Though it does look like Samsung is going with a vertical camera setup, instead of the horizontal camera setup on the Galaxy S10 line.
There is an image of the boot screen, which shows that this is indeed the Galaxy Note10+. That’s a model that we haven’t heard too much about in recent weeks. It’s been all about the Galaxy Note 10 and Note10 Pro. But it’s likely that the Galaxy Note10 Pro is actually the Galaxy Note10+, since it is supposed to be larger than the regular Galaxy Note10.
This does line up with previous leaks. Showing a hole punch display, with the camera in the center and there being virtually no bezels. Which means that this is likely close to 90-percent screen-to-body ratio. It does carry on the design cues from previous Galaxy Note smartphones, with the more squared-off corners, instead of rounder ones like the Galaxy S10 and previous Galaxy S smartphones have had.
There hasn’t been as many leaks and rumors about the Galaxy Note10+ or the Galaxy Note10 Pro as there has been about the smaller Galaxy Note10. But we are expecting a screen that is closer to 6.7-inches. Like the Galaxy S10 5G. It will also have a 25W wall charger in the box, but likely support up to 45W. Which would be the first time that Samsung has upgraded its fast charging in many, many years. The Galaxy Note10+ is also supposed to have a micro SD card slot, while the regular Galaxy Note10 will not. Which is a bit of an interesting change for Samsung. A company that typically points out that its competitors don’t have one.
It’s difficult to tell from these pictures, but the Galaxy Note10+ is supposed to come with a headphone jack. Earlier rumors said that there wouldn’t be one, but more recent rumors have shown us that both models are going to sport a headphone jack. That’s good news for those that do still like to use wired headphones instead of switching over to Bluetooth.
August 7 is still over a month away, so there’s still plenty of time for rumors and leaks to come out leading up to Samsung’s Unpacking of the Galaxy Note10. Supposedly, it’ll be happening in New York City once again, at the same venue that hosted the Galaxy Note9 launch last year. Which should be a pretty interesting event. Rumor is, that the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ will be available before the end of August, as Samsung is still looking to beat the new iPhone to store shelves, as it typically does.
