How To: Unlock Hidden Wallpapers On Your OnePlus 7 Pro

You will find a bunch of easily accessible, pre-installed wallpapers on the OnePlus 7 Pro, but that’s not all. It seems like OnePlus hid some wallpapers on the device. Accessing them is easy if you know what you’re doing, though.

We’ll show you how to unlock them, one step at a time. The OnePlus 7 Pro has a dedicated gaming mode called “Fnatic”. That gaming mode will improve your gaming experience on the device. It can maintain high brightness, temporarily block notifications, and everything you’d expect.

That’s not all, though, the company also allow you to tinker with settings more, if you’d like. You can re-allocate RAM, for example, which is not a common setting for gaming modes. We’ve already talked about Fnatic a while back, let’s focus on the wallpaper easer egg.

If you’d like to unlock those hidden OnePlus 7 Pro wallpapers, the first thing you need to do is open Settings. Once you open it, navigate to “Utilities”, and tap on it. There you’ll see the “Gaming mode” option, and in it, tap on “Fnatic mode”. Tap the logo at the top five times, which will reveal a text box below. In it, type in “alwaysfnatic”, once you do that, and confirm, you’ll get access to hidden wallpapers.

Do note that you should not use quotes for that word, by the way. Once you do all that, you’ll get three new wallpapers that you can add to your gallery. All of that is shown in the images down below, just in case you need more guidelines.

These new wallpapers are not earth-shattering, but they sure do look nice. If you like OnePlus’ wallpaper style, then chances are you’ll like these new options. The procedure is really not difficult, so why not add some extra wallpapers to your collection.

The OnePlus 7 Pro has been available for purchase for a couple of months now, and this little trick is only now showing its face. OnePlus really did a good job hiding away those wallpapers, and didn’t even leave a hint that they may be hidden.

The OnePlus 7 Pro has only been available since May, and rumors for its successor are already surfacing. The alleged OnePlus 7T Pro surfaced two times thus far, but those leaks turned out to be fake. The OnePlus 7 Pro prototype leaked, not the OnePlus 7T Pro.

Yesterday’s report claims that the OnePlus 7T series will arrive on October 15. That is a bit sooner than most people expect it, as the OnePlus 6T launched at the end of October last year. Its predecessor, the OnePlus 5T arrived at the end of November a year before, in 2017.

The OnePlus 7T series probably won’t change the OnePlus 7 Pro’s design all that much. The OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro are expected to look somewhat similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro. An under-display camera has been rumored for the OnePlus 7T series, but that probably won’t happen. An under-display camera may arrive with the OnePlus 8, though, after Vivo releases a phone which includes it.
