The Google Pixel 4 XL had leaked a number of times thus far, and a new leak has just appeared. This time around, both the black and “panda” white Pixel 4 XL units appeared.
The two phones appeared in a number of real-life images, giving you a chance to take a good look at them. This leak basically compares the two phones, as they’re both included in every image, side-by-side.
“Panda” white Pixel 4 comes with black accents and orange power key
The black model is completely black, aside from its power / lock button, which is white. The “panda” white model is white for the most part, but it has black accents.
Its frame is black-colored, as is its camera setup on the back. That variant of the phone has an orange power / lock key. We have a feeling this phone may also be referred to as the Stormtrooper edition of the Pixel 4 XL, not officially, of course.
These images basically confirm previous rumors and leaks. It is obvious that the phone is made out of metal and glass. Its “forehead” will be thicker than its “chin”, and there’s a good reason for that.
Google not only plans to include two cameras up there, but also come additional sensors. The Pixel 4 XL, and its smaller sibling, will feature advanced air gestures. This is all thanks to Google’s Project Soli. The two phones will offer radar gestures, pretty much.
Three cameras will be located on the back of the device. Those three cameras are placed in the top-left corner of the phone’s back side, along with an LED flash. You will also notice Google’s logo is located on the back of the device.
The Google Pixel 4 will look the same as the Pixel 4 XL. The device will be smaller, but the overall design will be unchanged from the larger model.
Snapdragon 855 or Snapdragon 855 Plus
We’re still not sure whether the two phones will be fueled by the Snapdragon 855 or Snapdragon 855 Plus. You can expect to get at least 6GB of RAM on both devices, though. An 8GB RAM variant is also a possibility.
Both devices are said to feature OLED displays, with 90Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 4 will probably include a fullHD+ panel, while the Pixel 4 XL will ship with a QHD+ display. It is possible that only the Pixel 4 XL will include a 90Hz display, but chances are that both will.
Android 10 will come pre-installed on both devices. These will be the first two phones to ship with Android 10 out of the box, by the way.
Google is expected to announce both devices at the beginning of October. The company still did not confirm when will the press event take place, though.
