CHUWI UBook Pro Specs Revealed, 25% Discount Announced

CHUWI has decided to release more info on the CHUWI UBook Pro. That info includes the device’s specifications, and even some availability info that we’ll get into a bit later.

The CHUWI UBook Pro, for those of you who do not know, is a 2-in-1 tablet. This is a hybrid which you can essentially use as both a tablet and a laptop, thanks to a stand and a keyboard accessory.

U-shaped kickstand & metal build

This device is made out of metal, and it does look quite elegant in the provided images. The CHUWI UBook Pro features a U-shaped kickstand, and is only 9mm thick. The device weighs 780 grams, and its keyboard accessory attaches thanks to magnets.

CHUWI says that the U-shaped kickstand is a good idea as it allowed the company to include a larger battery in the device. Include a larger battery, and keep the device thin in the process.

Side-facing stereo speakers

This device has side-facing speakers, but stereo speakers, in case you were wondering. CHUWI also mentioned that its kickstand has the maximum opening angle of 145-degrees.

The CHUWI UBook Pro will feature a 12.3-inch fullHD IPS display, with a 3:2 display aspect ratio. The phone’s display will be compatible with a stylus which has 2,048 pressure levels.

Intel’s 8th-gen Core m3-8100Y SoC will fuel this device, while Intel’s UHD Graphics 615 will be included as well. The UBook Pro is equipped with the following ports: 2x USB-a, 1x USB-C, 1x Micro HDMI, 1x 3.5mm, DC power port, docking setup on the bottom, and a TF card reader.

8GB of RAM, Windows 10 Home & 37Wh battery

The CHUWI UBook Pro will include 8GB of RAM, and ship with a 128GB / 256GB SSD, says the company. It will also pack in a 37Wh battery, and Windows 10 Home will come pre-installed on the device.

The CHUWI UBook Pro is expected to cost around $500, but the final price is still not known. If you subscribe early, you’ll be eligible for a 25-percent discount, though.

This will be an e-mail only discount, by the way. You can find out more if you follow the link provided down below, which will take you directly to the company’s official website.

CHUWI says that a “pre-heat” period for the launch of this device will last from September 11 to September 25. The official launch period will begin on September 25, and last until October 25.

That probably means that the device will become available in October, but we’re still not sure. In any case, follow the link down below for more info.
