Pricebaba has just released some exclusive Huawei Mate 30 Pro content in collaboration with @OnLeaks. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll be able to see the Huawei Mate 30 Pro design, revealed by renders. Those renders are also shown in the provided video.
These are CAD-based Huawei Mate 30 Pro design renders, and they reveal the phone’s design, presuming they’re legit, of course. Chances are these renders are spot on, though, as similar leaks have been in the past.
Do note that the source notes that the renders may not be 100-percent accurate, though. They are for the most part, but some small details may differ, as they’re based on CAD.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be made out of “premium glass” and metal, similar to its predecessor. The phone will include a rather wide display notch, while thin bezels will sit above it, and below the display.
That display notch is there for a good reason. The source notes it will house three selfie cameras, in addition to a number of additional sensors. The phone’s display will be curved quite a bit, which is easily noticeable when you look at the provided renders. The phone’s back side will also feature curved edges, similar to the front.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro will feature seven cameras overall
The device will feature four cameras on the back, and they’re really hard to miss. Those cameras are the most notable design trait of this phone, basically. The cameras are placed in two rows, and the whole setup protrudes on the back. So, the device will feature seven cameras overall.
A dual-LED flash is placed next to those four cameras, along with an additional sensor, and Leica’s branding. The power / lock button will sit on the right, while the volume up and down buttons are not visible in the provided renders.
Touch-sensitive volume buttons are coming
A recent leak hinted that the phone may include a touch-sensitive area above the power button. That area will be used for adjusting the volume, which is why you can’t see physical volume buttons.
A SIM card tray will be accessible from the bottom. A Type-C USB port will also be included on the bottom, along with a loudspeaker grill. The source claims that the phone will measure roughly 158.1 x 73.6 x 8.7mm (9.7mm around the camera hump).
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be fueled by the Kirin 990 64-bit octa-core processor. That chip hasn’t been announced just yet, but it probably will on September 6 in Berlin. The Mate 30 Pro, on the other hand, will become official on September 19.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro renders were shared by the source, but it also shared some spec info. It notes that two 40-megapixel sensors will be included on the back. In addition to that, you’ll also get an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) sensor.
The primary 40-megapixel camera is said to feature a variable aperture of f/1.4-f/1.6 and RYYB pixel layout. The secondary 40-megapixel camera is expected to include a 120-degree ultra-wide lens. A 4,500mAh battery is also rumored for this smartphone, along with 55W wired charging. The phone is also said to include 25W wireless charging.
