The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has appeared in a new set of images, while its specs also surfaced. This newly-leaked info actually reveals that the phone will be able to record super slow-motion video in 7,680fps. That is just above and beyond anything else on the market.
7,680fps slow-motion video recording is above and beyond the competition
Just to put things into perspective, the slowest slow-motion video recording at the moment stands at 960fps. The Galaxy Note 10 is one of the phones to offer such recording. So, the difference between 960fps and 7,680fps is monumental. It will be interesting to see the quality of such video on the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, though.
The spec leak reports that the device will be fueled by the Kirin 990, but we already knew that. Huawei confirmed that during IFA, when the Kirin 990 got announced. Re-confirmations followed in a number of teaser images and videos.
The phone will feature a 4,500mAh battery on the inside, and it will support 40W wired fast charging. On top of that, 27W wireless fast charging will also be included.
Android 10 will come pre-installed on the phone with EMUI 10, but without Google’s apps or services. You will have to install that once you fire up the phone. At least that’s what we expect will happen. Huawei would pre-install everything, but due to the conflict with the US and a recent ban that was issued, that is not possible.
Seven cameras overall
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro will include four cameras on the back. All of those cameras will be included in a circular camera module. Three cameras are expected to be included on the front, by the way.
The company is expected to include two 40-megapixel cameras on the back, one of which will take ultra-wide-angle photos. In addition to that, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera will be included, and a 3D depth sensor.
As you can see in the provided photos, the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will look a bit different. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro’s notch will be shorter and wider than the Mate 30+s.
The Mate 30 Pro will also include a curved display, the so-called Waterfall Display. The Mate 30, on the other hand, is coming with a flat panel.
Based on the provided images, the Pro model will not even include physical buttons. It is expected to come with touch-sensitive buttons on the side, unlike the Mate 30. Both devices will feature an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll be able to see the Huawei Mate 30 up close and personal. The phone surfaced in four color variants, Black, Green, Blue, and Red, at least that’s what it seems like based on these images.
Both of these smartphones will become official on September 19, which is tomorrow. The launch event will take place in Berlin, Germany.
