Huawei Mate 30 Promo Videos Highlight Design, Cameras & Fast Charging

Huawei had introduced the Mate 30 series of smartphones yesterday. Following that launch, the company released two Mate 30 promo videos for all of us to check out.

Both of these Mate 30 promo videos have been published on YouTube, and are embedded down below. The first one focuses on the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, while the second one is all about the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 30 RS.

Considering that the company’s official hashtag for the launch event is “RethinkPosibilities”, it is using the word “rethink” quite a bit here. In the first video, that word has been used quite a bit, asking you to rethink basically everything.

The company highlights the “Endless Screen Design” in the first video, and an 88-degree “Ultra Curve”. 5G connectivity is also mentioned in this video, as both 4G and 5G Mate 30 Pro variants got announced.

Huawei Mate 30 series cameras are a huge focus of these videos

The SuperSensing Cine Camera is mentioned in this video, as is Dual OIS + AIS image stabilization. The company is also promoting slow-motion video here. The Mate 30 Pro is capable of 7,680fps slow-motion video capture.

Huawei claims that the Mate 30 Pro can shoot great photos and videos even when there’s not much light in the scene. The advanced gesture controls are also promoted in this video, as is the all-new side-touch interaction with the phone.

40W wired and 27W wireless fast charging

Huawei also mentions 40W wired and 27W wireless SuperCharge fast charging. That fast charging is available on both the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro.

In addition to fast charging, the company also promotes 2x faster wireless reverse charging. That is pretty much it as far as the first video is concerned.

The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 30 RS promo video focuses on the design, unsurprisingly. The phone’s curved display is mentioned, as is “handcrafted premium leather” which is placed on the back of the phone.

5G connectivity, and gesture controls also made their way to this video. The same can be said for the phone’s cameras, some of their features, and fast charging.

In addition to announcing three flagship smartphones yesterday, Huawei also announced its new smartwatch and a TV.
