If you’re sick and tired of your Android being slow and unusable then you have nothing to worry about. It is now super easy for you to speed up your device and you would be surprised at how much of a difference it can make.
Keep the Apps you Use – Bin the Rest
If you have a lot of apps on your Android phone then this could be slowing you down. You’re essentially storing unnecessary things on your phone and this is going to take up your memory. Various apps run all the time and they are constantly connected to your internet too, so you really need to make sure that you clear out as many as you can. One way for you to do this would be for you to visit websites instead of having the app version. For example, if you love to gamble then you may download a sports betting app. This is great, but when there are so many websites out there that can provide you with live streams, you’ll soon find that it doesn’t make sense to take up your own phone memory.
Clear App Cache
There are so many apps out there that you really don’t need. One way for you to get around this would be for you to clear the cache. This will essentially reduce the amount of space they take up when they are not in use and this can make a huge difference to your device in general. Clearing cached data can make your app run smoother too, and the main reason for this is because it removes old data that could cause it to lag or even crash. This method is really great for social media apps such as Facebook and Instagram.
Use a Lighter Version
Believe it or not, a lot of applications come with a “lite” version. Some of them include Opera, Twitter, Messenger and even Facebook. They are designed for cheaper, or entry-level smartphones. They can also be used by users who want to try and keep things as simple as possible.
Update your Software
Every new version of the Android software comes with its own share of performance upgrades. If you are one of those people who just don’t upgrade their phone, then you may find that you end up being left behind. Alternatively, you can easily download a custom ROM for your device. This is usually only recommended for those who are experienced users. If you try and use ROMs when you don’t really know what you are doing, then you may run into issues and you may even find that you end up corrupting your system too.
So to make your Android faster – you just need to:
- Use a lighter version of an app
- Update your software
- Clear your app cache
- Delete any unwanted apps
If you do this then you’ll soon find that your device is faster and that it’s way less stressful to use too.
