The Google Pixel 4 series arrival is right around the corner. The leaks have been extremely persistent, and in the latest one, the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL specs have been revealed as well.
The Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL renders and real-life images have been leaking for weeks, even months. The same can be said for various features of the device, while Google threw in a couple of teasers as well.
Google moved the Pixel 4 production to Vietnam, which definitely did not help them keep it a secret. Various people filmed hands-on videos with the Pixel 4 phones, and included those on YouTube.
This is probably the most-leaked phone series of all time at this point. Well, the latest leak brings some more fuel to the table, as the Pixel 4 series specs are not a secret anymore either. This information comes from 9to5Google, a site that revealed quite a bit of Pixel 4 info in the last day or so.
Google Pixel 4 specs reveal “Pixel Neutral Core” is coming
Before we get into it, it’s worth noting that this spec sheet reveals the “Pixel Neural Core”. Both Pixel 4 phones will have it, and it seems to be replacing the “Visual Core”. The Pixel Neural Core will be in charge of processing images, no doubt about that.
Having said that, let’s get to the specs themselves, shall we. Let’s go through all the specs that will be the same for both devices first.
Both phones will be fueled by the Snapdragon 855 Plus, and have the Pixel Neural Core. Both phones will include 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.
You can also expect to get 12-megapixel Dual-Pixel and 16-megapixel telephoto cameras on the back. Stereo speakers will be a part of the package on both devices, as will Type-C USB port.
Facial scanning will be enabled on both devices, as will “Motion Sense”. Titan M security module is also listed here, as are guaranteed Android OS and security updates for three years.
That being said, the display size is different on these two phones, as is display resolution. The same goes for battery sizes as well, of course. Those are the only spec differences listed here.
Both phones will feature 90Hz displays
The Google Pixel 4 will feature a 5.7-inch fullHD+ Smooth Display. This will be an OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 4 XL, on the other hand, will include a 6.3-inch QHD+ Smooth Display. This will also be an OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Both of these smartphones will arrive on October 15. It is also worth noting that both will ship with Android 10 out of the box, and that the Pixel 4 XL will be considerably larger.
