At the end of last month, Nubia had announced that the Red Magic 3S is coming to the US, Europe, and more regions on October 16. Back then, the company had not announced pricing info for the device. Well, that has now changed, as the Nubia Red Magic 3S pricing has been revealed.
The company has revealed Red Magic 3S pricing for the US, Europe, and the UK. Pricing for Australia, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Macao will probably be announced on October 16. The Nubia Red Magic 3S pricing for those countries will be comparable to others, though.
Now, for those of you who don’t know, the Red Magic 3S is a gaming smartphone. This phone is a successor to the Red Magic 3, and it comes in two variants.
The Red Magic 3S pricing starts at €479 in Europe, $479 in the US
The variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage comes in Eclipse Black and Mecha Silver colors. That variant of the device will cost €479 in Europe, and $479 in the US. Pricing for the UK will be £419.
The 12GB RAM variant with 256GB of storage will be available in a Cyber Shade color option. That model will be priced at €599 in Europe, and $599 in the US. The device will cost £529 in the UK.
The Nubia Red Magic 3S surely is a recognizable device. Its back side resembles those of its predecessors, and the device includes a single rear camera. A regular, capacitive fingerprint scanner is also placed back there.
The device does not include a display notch, or a display hole. There are some bezels included above and below the display, and those will make the phone easier to grasp while gaming.
Liquid cooling technology & touch-sensitive shoulder triggers
The device includes an active cooling system that utilizes liquid cooling technology. The phone has an internal turbo fan with upgraded air inlet. Nubia also included Game Space 2.1 app for gaming, and some other gaming features are included.
One of those features are the touch-sensitive shoulder triggers. Those are supposed to act as shoulder buttons on gamepads, and you can custom-map them. You’re also able to tweak the RGB lighting strip on the back.
The Nubia Red Magic 3S is quite a powerful phone. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 855 Plus, and the two RAM variants we mentioned include LPDDR4X RAM. UFS 3.0 storage is also a part of the package.
The phone features a 6.65-inch fullHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Front-facing stereo speakers and DTS:X technology are also included.
The phone features a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 18W quick charging. A 48-megapixel camera sits on the back of the device, while a single 16-megapixel one is included on the front.
