OnePlus 7T Will Become Available In Europe On October 17

The OnePlus 7T will become available in Europe on October 17, the company has announced. That info has been shared during OnePlus’ press event in London, during which the company announced the OnePlus 7T Pro. The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition was also announced.

The OnePlus 7T comes in a single variant to Europe. The company announced that a model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will be available. Last month, when the phone originally launched, two variants were announced, 8GB RAM options with 128GB and 256GB of storage.

The OnePlus 7T will be available from £549

That being said, OnePlus did announce the phone’s price tag, but for the UK only for now. The OnePlus 7T will cost £549 in the UK. Its price tag elsewhere in Europe will probably be €599. As a reminder, the phone comes in Frosted Silver and Glacier Blue color variants.

This is not the phone’s initial announcement, though. The device was originally announced back on September 26 in both India and the US. OnePlus simply rehashed everything they mentioned on September 26 for European users during today’s event.

The OnePlus 7T is a considerable improvement over its predecessor in the spec department. The phone comes with a more powerful SoC, better display, faster charging, bigger battery, and a better camera setup.

The OnePlus 7T includes a smaller waterdrop display notch than its predecessor. It also features a circular camera setup on the back, with three cameras.

The phone is made out of metal and glass, and it comes with a curved back side. A flat display is included on its front side, though.

The Snapdragon 855 Plus, 8GB of RAM and UFS 3.0 storage

The Snapdragon 855 Plus fuels the device, Qualcomm’s most powerful SoC. We’ve already mentioned that it comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage, but it’s worth noting this is LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.0 flash storage.

48, 8, and 12-megapixel cameras are placed on the back of this phone. The phone also includes a motor for macro photography, so you can come closer to a subject. A 16-megapixel camera can be found on the phone’s front side.

Android 10 comes pre-installed on the phone, along with OnePlus’ OxygenOS 10. The phone also includes two nano SIM card slots, and Bluetooth 5.0.

A 3,800mAh battery is also a part of the package, and it is not removable. OnePlus included Warp Charge 30T here as well, its proprietary fast wired charging technology

Warp Charge 30T is 23-percent faster than Warp Charge 30 that comes inside the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The OnePlus 7T does not offer wireless charging, though.

UPDATE: Pricing for the rest of Europe has been confirmed. You’ll need to pay €599 in order to get the phone, as we presumed.
