OnePlus 8 Depicted By Realistic Concept Renders: Video

Both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro leaked in renders a while back. Those renders are probably quite accurate, considering the source. Well, a concept designer decided to release its own OnePlus 8 renders, which are based on the ones that leaked earlier.

If you take a look at the provided gallery and video below, you’ll be able to see the OnePlus 8 from more angles. Do note that the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will look almost identical, by the way. The only difference is expected to be visible on the back, next to the camera setup.

The OnePlus 8 Pro will feature some additional sensors next to its triple camera setup. Other than that, the two phones will offer the exact same design.

The OnePlus 8 will look similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro & 7T Pro

The OnePlus 8 series will look quite similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro. There will be one notable difference, though. The OnePlus 8 devices will sport a display camera hole in the top-left corner of the display. That camera will replace the pop-up selfie camera on the 7 Pro and 7T Pro.

This is something you’ll either love or hate. It will mess up display usage for some, as display holes can be annoying, similar to notches. Others probably won’t mind, though, as that hole will be quite small it seems.

The phone will include three vertically-aligned cameras on the back. Those cameras will be placed in the same position as on the OnePlus 7 Pro and 7T Pro.

The company’s logo will sit below those cameras, while the back side of the phone will be curved. That back side will actually be proportional to the front side, as the OnePlus 8 will include a curved display.

Bezels on this phone will be almost non-existent, while display corners will be rounded. An earpiece will sit above the display, a regular earpiece that will probably hide the secondary speaker.

The phone’s triple camera setup on the back will protrude a bit, as was the case before. The power / lock physical key, and an alert slider will sit on the right. The volume up and down buttons will be included on the left.

The OnePlus 8 concept design comes in five different color variants

This concept designer showed the OnePlus 8 in a number of color variants. The device got shown in Brown, Pink, Dark Green, Gray, and Blue colors. The phone will not launch in all these color variants, that’s for sure. OnePlus will probably stick to two or three color options.

The source did not mention any specifications for the OnePlus 8. That is not surprising considering that this is just a concept design of the device.

The phone is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 865 SoC, plenty of RAM, and UFS 3.0 storage. Both the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will include a 90Hz display, and Android 10. Its rear cameras will be improved over the current-gen flagship, while a QHD+ display will be a part of the OnePlus 8 Pro, most probably.
