The Armor X5 hands-on video demonstrates ‘Gloves Mode’, gaming, and more
In this hands-on video, you will be able to see the Armor X5 in action. One of Ulefone’s employees took this rugged phone to the forest and used it for a bit for the camera.
You will see various apps run on the device, while Ulefone also demonstrates ‘Gloves Mode’. This phone can also handle games really well, at least based on this video.
The company’s employee even dropped the phone, and then washed it afterwards. The device is IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810G certified, so it can handle water, dust, and drops.
The Ulefone Armor X5 does look like a rugged phone, and it looks exactly the same as the Armor X3. The company used the same design, but decided to upgrade its internals in the Armor X5’s case.
There are several improvements here, compared to the Armor X3, but the most notable is in the connectivity department. The Armor X5 comes with 4G LTE support, while the Armor X3 was limited to 3G.
The Armor X5 features two cameras on the back, while it does not offer a fingerprint scanner. The device does support facial scanning, though, it utilizes its front-facing camera for that purpose.
