DxOMark has published its camera test results for the Huawei nova 6 5G, and it turns out this phone tops DxOMark’s selfie charts. The Huawei nova 6 5G, for those of you who do not know, is Huawei’s latest handset.
This phone actually got announced earlier today, and it features two selfie cameras. Those two cameras are placed in the top-left corner of its display. The device features a pill-shaped display camera hole in order to accommodate these sensors.

The Huawei nova 6 5G sports a 32-megapixel main selfie camera (f/2.0 aperture). In addition to that, you’ll also find an 8-megapixel secondary camera (f/2.2 aperture, 105-degree angle lens, ultrawide camera).
The Huawei nova 6 5G managed to score 100 points in DxOMark’s selfie camera test. The Galaxy Note 10 5G is a close second, actually, as it managed to score 99 points.
This phone’s front-facing cameras can actually shoot 4K video at 30 frames per second. You’re also getting PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) here.
DxOMark says that it analyzed the Huawei nova 6 5G’s front-facing cameras with over 1,500 test images. It also shot more than two hours of video footage. The company did that in a controlled environment in its lab, and also in natural settings outdoors. The camera’s default settings were used.
The source claims that this phone’s selfie cameras managed to provide really good exposure in all conditions, HDR surely helped a lot. The phone also managed to capture wide dynamic range, and white balance was also spot on. All in all, the Huawei nova 6 5G seems to be capable of taking some really nice selfies.
