The Huawei P40 & P40 Pro are expected to arrive in March, and their renders have just surfaced. Truth be said, these renders are not revealing as much as we’d want, as they are extremely dark.
Still, you can see the general form factor of the two phones in these images, along with some additional details. These Huawei P40 series renders have been provided by @OnLeaks and 91mobiles, and are probably CAD-based.
Huawei P40 series renders reveal a rectangular camera module on the back
The moment you lay your eyes on these images, you’ll notice that both devices include a rectangular camera module on the back. The Huawei P40 has four cameras sensors on the back, while we still do not know how much the P40 Pro has. The provided images are too dark to be able to tell, but chances are it will include more than the P40.
The Huawei P40 renders reveal that the phone will include a flat display. The P40 Pro, on the other hand, will ship with a curved display. That display will be curved on all four sides, by the way.
You will notice that the metal frame actually covers the corners of the P40 Pro now. The glass panel goes under it. This is a rather interesting design choice by Huawei.
We don’t really get to see how thick their bezels are, as the images are too dark, but they’re probably extremely thin. We also can’t see if a display camera hole or notch are included, but the camera hole is probably there on both phones.
The source notes that the Huawei P40 will include a 6.1 or 6.2-inch display, while the P40 Pro will ship with a display sized between 6.5 and 6.7 inches.
A Type-C USB port will be located on the bottom of both phones, along with a SIM card tray, and a speaker grille. An in-display fingerprint scanner will be included in both devices.
The Kirin 990 will be included, along with Leica’s camera lenses
The Kirin 990 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel both phones, and it comes with an integrated 5G modem. Both phones are expected to include plenty of RAM, and Leica’s camera lenses.
The Huawei P40 Pro is rumored to include a 5,500mAh battery, and 50W wired charging. Android 10 will come pre-installed on both phones, along with EMUI 10 skin.
The ‘Pro’ model is also said to include a QHD+ Waterfall Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its screen-to-body ratio will be quite high.
Huawei’s CEO confirmed recently, during an interview, that both phones will arrive in March. He said that they will arrive at the end of March, while also confirming Android 10 inclusion.
