Roborock hit a home run with its first handheld vacuum
Roborock entered the handheld vacuum market at CES 2020, with the H6. And we must say it’s a pretty impressive handheld vacuum, especially for a first attempt. And it makes the Roborock H6 worth of a Best of CES 2020 award.
There are three things that a handheld vacuum needs to exceed at, to be a good handheld vacuum. Those include being lightweight, lasting a long time, and doing a good job at cleaning up. The Roborock H6 is able to do all of that, and much more.
The powerful motor and suction make the Roborock H6 a winner
Roborock outfitted the H6 with a powerful 420W motor, and that is paired with 140AW of suction power, allowing it to really do some deep cleaning in your home. And that’s all within the light three pound frame of the H6.
The bristles on the H6 are gentle yet strong. This is important, as bristles that are not gentle could scratch up your hardwood floors. But that’s not a problem for the Roborock H6. It’s able to clean those wood floors without any issues at all.
With this much power, the Roborock H6 makes the perfect handheld vacuum for those with pets – lots of pets. That pet hair can often times be really tough to get out of the carpet. But with all this suction power, the H6 can get it all out of your carpet, with ease.
Your next handheld vacuum might have an OLED display
At least the Roborock H6 has one. There’s a small 1.3-inch OLED display on the top of the vacuum, above the handle. This display is there to indicate how much battery is left, whether its locked or unlocked, what cleaning mode it is on and tell you about any maintenance alerts. And since this is an OLED display, it’s not going to use up a lot of juice.
The thought of a display on a handheld vacuum might sound a bit strange, but it’s a really good idea. Giving you all that information where you can actually use it, is very smart.
Roborock has equipped the H6 with a pretty large 3610mAh battery, that should last for a good hour and a half of continuous cleaning. That should be more than enough for most everyone.
This is why the Roborock H6 handheld vacuum has won Best of CES 2020. It’s a departure from the usual robot vacuums and mops that Roborock is known for, but it just beat the pricey competition.
