Roborock H6 handheld vacuum, S6 Pure robot vacuum debut at CES 2020

The Roborock H6 is making its big debut at CES 2020 as the first handheld vacuum from the robot vacuum maker. Roborock, maker of some of the best robot vacuums on the market, is taking a surprising new direction at CES 2020 with the announcement of the Roborock H6. Launching at $449 in Q2 2020, the Roborock H6 utilizes Roborock’s experience as a robot vacuum maker and places powerful, compact vacuuming tech inside a handheld vacuum “stick” that’s designed to reach places a robot vacuum can’t.

The Roborock H6 packs a dense 3,610mAh battery inside a light 3lb frame, yet feature 140 AW of suction and a 420W motor. The 400mL dustbin will store plenty of debris, and the 5-layer HEPA-grade filter will ensure that debris and dust don’t make it into the air and back onto your furniture and floors. You can even wash the dustbin for easy cleaning.

A 1.3-inch OLED screen displays how much battery is left and makes choosing the right cleaning mode a breeze. The Li-Po battery inside is fully rechargeable, just like a smartphone, and the 90-minute runtime means you won’t have to constantly charge it, despite its portable nature. The Roborock H6 comes with all the accessories you’d expect a handheld vacuum to ship with, making it easier to clean those tough spots in and out of your home.

While robot vacuums can clean most of your home’s flooring and regularly trafficked areas, there are always those spots behind furniture, in closets, or other places in your home where a handheld vacuum just makes more sense to use. Unlike a robot vacuum, the handheld Roborock H6 can also be used to clean out your car, the basement, or plenty of other areas in your home where a robot vacuum simply won’t work.

Just as a robot vacuum can never fully replace a handheld portable vacuum, the Roborock H6 is designed to perfectly complement your robot vacuum throughout and outside of your home.

To jive with this thought, Roborock is also launching the Roborock S6 Pure, a robot vacuum that features the same precision laser navigation system and advanced mapping software as its other robot vacuums, but with a more affordable price. The Roborock S6 Pure launches in Q2 2020 for $549 and sits alongside the Roborock S4, Roborock S5 Max, and Roborock S6 to provide a full suite of robot vacuums for every type of home and budget.
