DIESEL is no stranger to making bold fashion choices, which is what the company has done with its new Fadelite smartwatch.
It’s a smartwatch powered by Wear OS just like its other offerings, such as the DIESEL On Axial. But that’s not the bold part. The bold decision is the choice DIESEL made about the style.
A translucent band that comes in multiple colors, with a smaller, 43mm unisex design so it can be worn by both men and women. The watch comes in four different colors total, including all clear, red to black, black to clear, and blue to clear.
The DIESEL Fadelite smartwatch will be available this March
Looking for a bold new design for your latest smartwatch? The Fadelite is your ticket to fulfilling that dream and it’s available this Spring.
Specifically, in March. The watch will retail for $275 which is around the same cost as the On Axial. It’ll also be on sale online and in DIESEL stores, as well as through various retail outlet partners.
Both the band and the watch case are translucent
To keep things matching both the watch band and the watch case feature the same translucent color.
And to keep things bold, and in true DIESEL fashion (no pun intended), the DIESEL logo is highly visible on the strap. Aside from being a bold design, DIESEL says the watch band is highly breathable, making the watch extremely comfortable to wear.
The case for the watch is made of a hard shell nylon that should provide ample durability. While also keeping with the overall design. DIESEL also says the case is fairly lightweight, which would add to the comfort over extended periods of time.
When it comes to features, generally anything you’ll find on the Axial, you’ll find on the Fadelight. This means it comes with a speaker that can be used for multiple things. Including voice calls with a connected phone, listening to music, or interacting with Google Assistant.
It also supports Google Pay, the Play Store, GPS tracking, heart rate tracking, and it’s swim proof. So if you’d rather not take it off before taking a dip, don’t. You won’t need to.
The Fadelight runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 3100 platform. Which is more or less standard at this point for Wear OS smartwatches. There was no mention of complete specs, but chances are it comes with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of storage.
